This series reads like one long novel that has been broken into 8 parts. Reviewing each book individually didn’t seem feasible to me. I finished the final book in the series, END GAME, in June of 2022. Yes, it has been roughly a year and a half, but in that time I’ve hardly written anything. But never mind about that.
FALLEN EMPIRE as a whole is a fast paced, fun, interplanetary space adventure. The characters fit well together, both the allies and rivals. They find more than their share of trouble and have more than their share of narrow escapes, and keep the reader engaged and entertained through it all. I highly recommend reading this series. I’ve just started the follow-up series, SKY FULL OF STARS, and it looks like it will be another good one.
