Fallen Empire series by Lindsay Buroker

I’m nearing the end of Lindsay Buroker’s 8 novel Fallen Empire series. It has been a fun ride and it’s shaping up to be a smash hit. My thought when I started this series was that I’d read and review each book separately, but I decided that would be difficult and not very useful. The series reads like one long novel that has been split into 8 parts. Each book reaches a convenient stopping place, but doesn’t conclude a separate story within the series. I’ll add my thoughts and opinions after I finish book 8, but if you’re looking for a good long space adventure right now, I would recommend this series on the author’s track record alone. I’m reasonably confident she won’t blow the story in the last book.
