I haven’t posted anything since May, but I haven’t abandoned my site. Seems the fire to write that burned inside me for so long has died. The last two years have been rough. After three bouts with Covid-19 and lots of other stuff, I feel like zombie more often than not. I’m still going through the motions of daily life, but mostly seem to be running on auto pilot. I have big digital stacks of works in progress, but I’m doubting any of them will ever see the light of day. One manuscript is complete and only needs editing. I keep thinking I should be able to get it done, but it’s not happening. There’s one other I’ve made a good start on and I’d really like to get it written, but the task seems insurmountable.
On a side note, I finished reading Lyndsay Buroker’s Fallen Empire series. I really need to write a review. It’s a well written, fun space adventure. Definitely worth reading.
